3 ways to build the system
Minimal / 10-Minute
Use a familiar light base, choose one focal detail—extended liner, dark lip or a tiny eye-area mark—keep color restrained, skip extra detail if the focal feature already reads clearly, then remove everything fully.
- Base: e.l.f. Soft Glam Satin Concealer, 13 Fair Neutral / wet n wild Bare Focus Tinted Hydrator, Light Medium
- Focal Feature: Maybelline Master Precise All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner, Black
- Color: Choose your own
- Detail: Choose your own
- Removal: Garnier Micellar Water Facial Cleanser & Makeup Remover, 13.5 fl oz
Graphic / Statement
Keep the complexion familiar and make liner or a strong color the center. Add one small graphic detail with a cosmetic labeled for that area; avoid layering several competing motifs.
- Base: e.l.f. Soft Glam Satin Concealer, 13 Fair Neutral
- Focal Feature: Maybelline Master Precise All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner, Black / Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Washable Mascara, Blackest Black
- Color: La Catrina Black, Blue & Purple Eyeshadow Palette
- Detail: Maybelline Master Precise All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner, Black / NOOEPC Self-Adhesive Face Gems
- Removal: Garnier Micellar Water Facial Cleanser & Makeup Remover, 13.5 fl oz / e.l.f. SKIN Holy Hydration! Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm
Dark / Polished
Use a natural evening base, controlled black definition, a berry or plum lip and soft polished hair. Keep novelty marks minimal so the look works for dinner, a party or a bar.

A few thoughtful decisions
Build the system
Choose the pieces that suit you. Your choices stay in this browser when you save them.
01 · Required
Base
Create a familiar, even starting point without turning the routine into full costume makeup.
Use your normal prep and complexion routine, or simplify to concealer only where needed. Keep skin texture visible and avoid trying a new heavy base on the night of the event.
02 · Required
Focal Feature
Choose the one feature that makes the makeup read as Halloween.
Pick one route: extended black liner, a strong lip, smoked shadow or deliberately sculpted lashes and brows. Build this feature first enough to judge the look before adding secondary details.
03 · Required
Color
Set the beauty direction with one controlled color family.
Choose black and neutral for a minimal look, one stronger eye color for a graphic look, or berry, plum and soft charcoal for a dark polished look. Use products only in the areas identified on their labels.
04 · Optional
Detail
Add one small finishing mark only if the main feature needs a clearer Halloween cue.
A small star, dot cluster or short graphic line can complete the idea. Use a cosmetic labeled for the intended area. Do not substitute craft glitter, markers, paint, lip products around the eyes or other non-eye cosmetics near the eye area.
05 · Required
Removal
Plan complete makeup removal and basic cleanup before the event starts.
Use a remover according to its label, work gently around the eyes and follow with your normal cleansing routine if needed. Stop using any cosmetic that causes irritation; seek medical advice if irritation persists.
